Stuff and Nothing

I’m a thirty-something software developer (somehow drawn to quirky start-ups that seem doomed to failure).  This blog starts as I prepare to hit the road on a short career break.  We take a three month whirlwind trip around the world taking in more sights and experiences than we ever expected.  We arrive back home to a wintry Ireland in the throes of a severe depression and attempt to answer the question – what now?
